For those of you who don’t know, Ballbreaker is my favorite AC/DC album and with my recently launched YouTube channel, Rock ‘n’ Roll Tales from the Lady in Black, I have an excuse to talk about my love for this album and fangirl over Phil Rudd because he is life! I’ve been keeping my YouTube channel separate from my blog for a while, but I figured now would be a good time to introduce it on here because of my commitment to growing as a content creator. With all that said, let’s get on with the music!
On this episode of Rock ‘n’ Roll Tales from the Lady in Black, Lana shares her thoughts on her favorite AC/DC album ever, Ballbreaker (1995). She also explains why drummer Phil Rudd’s return was a huge deal for the band at the time.

Great video Lana! I love how you go through the “Ballbreaker” album, enlightening me with things I didn’t know about it. I love “Cover You in Oil.”

Thanks so much for watching, Mike! It was quite a learning experience researching the album myself. And yes, “Cover You in Oil” is so underrated!

Ballbreaker is my least favorite, so this is an interesting counter-take. Good stuff!

Thanks so much for watching, Holen! Yes, I’ve heard there are people that don’t like this album. But of course, if we all liked the same things, the world would be very boring.
