Meet Lana

Hey guys! How’s everyone doing? My name is Lana, and I was born and raised in Hawaii. I decided to create this blog to talk about my life experience and interests. But, now I use it as an excuse to talk about my love for oldies music, haha!

Music has played a big part in my life and still does to this day! My musical tastes have shifted dramatically from Justin Bieber to One Direction, to Taylor Swift, to Queen, to Def Leppard, to Metallica, to AC/DC, and the list goes on and on. Part of the fun that comes with this blog is looking back on my previous posts and reading my old thoughts; who knows which artists I’ll enjoy two years from now!

As you can tell by my background image, Def Leppard is my favorite band of all time, courtesy of Rick Allen. I’ve always been self-conscious of my appearance (because I can’t feel on the right side of my face) until I discovered Def Leppard in the summer of 2019. Technically, I started liking their stuff back in 2018, but I didn’t show further interest in the band until that summer. Rick Allen became my inspiration in life to go after my dreams and become a better version of myself.

I’ve been a massive Disney fan ever since I was granted a wish from Make-A-Wish to go to Disney World when I was five-years-old. I haven’t been there since, but I’ve been to Disneyland at least five times, and it has become my second home. If I’m not watching concerts or music documentaries, you can find me watching vlogs from the Disney Parks.

You can expect album reviews, a lot of listicle posts, some Disney content, as well as mental health updates (or as I call it, mental status updates).
